Location was perfect. The beach is right outside and there's a Starbucks right across the beach access alley thing. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Loved the full kitchen set-up. If I had been there longer, I totally would have gotten more food to make on my own. But it worked perfect to order extra takeout and do leftovers. Also the rain shower was amazing.

The location is awesome, right one the Venice boardwalk, just a few short blocks from Small World Books. The room was one of their larger ones with a great corner view of the ocean and boardwalk, with hardwood flooring and a nice updated bathroom. There’s parking, relatively cheap by LA area standards, right behind the hotel or cheaper a few blocks away. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is older, so the rugs in the hallways and stairs are a bit worn out. Still, it’s a place we’d definitely recommend for a stay in the LA area, more affordable and convivial than Santa Monica. Also a few blocks nearby were a number of terrific restaurants - highly recommend the Market for dinner (great food and service) and Mao’s Kitchen for lunch. There are many others worth exploring. The Getty Villa Museum is just a few miles north, an outstanding museum and place to relax and get away from the city noise. If I lived in LA, I’d be visiting there a lot.

Excellent location right on the beach front; affordable, long term parking close by (front desk staff organizes it); kitchenette in the room (we cooked all our meals); rooftop patio with great ocean / beach view with lounge chairs, cushioned bench, and a gas BBQ grill / sink. There is also a guest laundry in the basement and beach towels/chairs/toys to use for free. Super friendly and helpful front desk staff (especially Danielle, who is a dream).

We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and upgraded our room to a full ocean view room on the third floor (we booked the first floor partial ocean view studio). We arrived early in the morning and they let us in our room hours before the official check in time which was much appreciated. Excellent location right at the boardwalk, and a beautiful rooftop. The kitchen in the room is great.

Great location if visiting Venice Beach and Santa Monica, and is the best location to stay in Los Angeles to avoid the city sprawl. The apartment was clean and had a good basic kitchen area. Beds were quite comfortable.

We got an upgrade and got a studio with total view of the ocean. I cannot in words describe how wonderful that was. I have never stayed in a hotel with a better view. The studio also had a kitchen and table with chairs. Staff was Amazing and rooftoop area aswell. So nice. We borrowed towels and beach chairs from the reception. Thank you!!!

What can I say - an absolutely perfect place to stay when on Venice Beach - great check in, Room (107) - and weirdly this was the 2nd time we have been here and the 2nd time we have stayed in room 107! Room very well appointed, just as we remember, the bed is really comfortable, great kitchen area, huge bathroom (suitable for disabled). Great position for exploring Venice Beach, Venice Canals, Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey - all within walking distance! Very close to Main Street Santa Monica where there are great eateries!

The location is right in the middle of Venice Beach. And if you lucky you’ll wanna get the ocean view room . Not only does it see the ocean but your right over the boardwalk perfect people watching spot .

Excellent proximity to the beach and the beach scene. Short walk to nice shops and restaurants. Longer walk to the Santa Monica pier.

Perfect position. In front of one of the best beach in the world. The rooftop is amazing; you can see a beautiful sunset or just take a nap after lunch. Venice beach is fancy, eclectic, multiethnic and noisy ( and very expensive!); you gotta see it and you will never forget it!
